She's Gone

He stands there watching,
as the rain falls down,
He's thinking of her,
as he stands alone,
Do you think of what's happened,
think of the times,
It took place so long ago,

He stands there watching,
as the rain falls down,
He's patiently waiting,
waiting for his wife to come home,
As he began to remember,
what others had forgot,
The teardrops fell,
and hit the ground,

He stands there watching,
as the rain fell down,
He thinks of the nights,
that she came home,
But now he just stands there all alone,
His wife was now gone,
Never to come home,
Hit by a driver on her way home,

Now he stand there waiting,
standing alone,
The rain keeps falling,
when no one can see,
He stands there waiting for eternity.
